Inspire the next generation of designers. creators, readers, writers, and critical thinkers. Medina College is seeking a passionate and innovative Teacher of Design and Technology to join our dedicated team and play a key role in shaping the educational journey of our students.

About Us - Medina College, on the historic and beautiful Isle of Wight, is located over two sites: our 11- 16 site on the outskirts of Newport, and the post 16 site, The Island VI Form, in the town centre.

Your Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and challenging lessons that inspire a love of Design and Technology.

  • Monitor and support pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet diverse needs.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to raise standards and promote academic success.

  • Actively contribute to our inclusive school ethos and positive learning environment.

  • Qualified Teacher Status and a degree in Technology  or a related subject.

  • Strong subject knowledge and understanding of current educational developments.

  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for inspiring young learners.

  • A commitment to continuous professional development and innovative teaching.
