Thornden School are seeking an outstanding individual to join our successful Business Department as a Teacher of Business at KS4 with some KS3 ICT teaching (please detail any other subject areas you are qualified in).  Thornden School offers an outstanding induction, training, and development opportunities.

About the role:

  • To teach Business at KS4 with some KS3 ICT to an outstanding standard
  • To assist in raising and maintaining standards of student attainment and achievement in the department.
  • To promote learning and to monitor, support and be accountable for student progress in Business.
  • To ensure consistently high levels of professionalism are maintained.
  • To promote the school’s belief in creating a safe environment for students through robust safeguarding practices and maintaining an environment where students feel confident to approach any member of staff with a concern.
