Key Staff Members
Su is the Chief Executive Officer for the HISP MAT which is a cross phase Trust currently with schools Hampshire and Southampton. The Trust is also the home of the Portswood Teaching School Alliance and LEARN Teaching School Alliance, HISP Research School, The Hampshire SCITT Partnership and a thriving NQT Appropriate Body. Su has worked across the south east on school improvement as a National Leader of Education. Over the past 5 years she has supported over 15 schools on their school led improvement journey.
Amanda is the Deputy Chief Executive Officer for the HISP MAT. She is also currently the South East and South London Regional Representative for the Teaching School Council. As the strategic lead for the LEARN Teaching School Alliance and PTSA Teaching School Alliance, she has undertaken school improvement work across both primary and secondary schools on behalf of the DfE.
As Chief Financial Officer Kelly has over 20 years’ experience in senior finance roles, mainly within the third and public sectors. She was previously School Business Manager for Thornden School, a large secondary school that also hosts a successful Research School, Teaching School, School Centred Initial Teacher Training Provider and Appropriate Body for Newly Qualified Teachers. Kelly is an AAT and CIPFA trained accountant and has spent 12 years in school governance.
Sian has worked in various senior administrative roles for 20 years. Having started her career in a Small & Medium Enterprise (SME) business she soon transferred to a national communications company, progressing from an initial administrative support function to a full project management role. Specifically, Sian was responsible for providing administration support to large internal departments, PA support to company directors and project support for large work programmes before being promoted to a project management role.
After a short family career break, Sian retuned to work at Thornden School, carrying out the Initial Teacher Training (ITT) administration for a number of years.
George has spent over 20 + years working across all phases of education supporting teaching and learning, school improvement and career pathways from ITT trainees through to executive leadership. George has led a Teaching School Alliance, ITT and CPD programmes and developed networking across the South East. George has a particular strength in developing and motivating others, helping them reach their full potential through personalised coaching and mentoring.
George is also the Executive Officer for the Teaching School Council across the South East South London region where she has supported over 130 Teaching Schools and 250 system leaders. In her spare time, she likes to walk in nature, read and spend time with her growing family.
